Who do you want to be?

“Your life is either a stepping stone or a stumbling block.” – Jentzen Franklin

As I have grown in my faith, there are several lessons that I have learned. One of the most critical things is that no matter where I am or who I’m around, I’m either leading someone closer to Jesus or further away, there’s no middle ground.

This morning as I was doing my morning devotional, I began to ask myself what kind of legacy I wanted to leave. I began to think of what kind of man I wanted to be both now and in the future (Notice I didn’t say I wanted to go back to the man I was).

“Begin building the life you would want to live over again.” – Christine Caine

You can’t undo the life you’ve already lived, but you CAN start fresh today. We serve a God who longs to make ALL THINGS NEW! 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

Today, you have the choice to live a life that reflects a God of fresh starts and new beginnings. It’s a new day. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow is not here yet. Enjoy what’s right in front of you!

“Live your life in such a way that people will look to Jesus because of you, not in spite of you.”

  1. Thank you that was truly inspirational. I ask God to use me each day, even though I am broken. I ask him to guide me and let the efforts heal me.
